Depending on how you use NextWeekends, we may collect information such as:

• Your search location or destination.
• Experience preferences and selected categories.
• Travel radius, budget, and travel dates.
• Approximate location if you choose to enable location services.
• Basic browser, device, and technical information.
• Anonymous analytics about how the platform is used.
• If you choose to create a NextWeekends account: your email address and password. Discovering events, searching, and browsing NextWeekends never requires an account.
• If you choose to save an event to your account: information about that event (such as its name, date, and location) so it can be shown back to you later.

The information collected depends on the features you choose to use.

Account Information

Creating a NextWeekends account is optional. If you create one, we store the email address you provide and a password. Your password is never stored as plain text — it is converted using a one-way cryptographic hash before it is saved, so it cannot be recovered or read back, by us or anyone else, from what is stored.

Signing in issues a session that keeps you signed in on that device until you sign out or the session expires. You can sign out at any time from your account page.

If you save an event, that information is associated with your account and shown to you on your Saved Events page. Event details supplied by our event providers are removed automatically once those providers no longer permit us to retain them; you can also remove a saved event yourself at any time.

How We Use Your Information

We use information collected through NextWeekends to:

• Recommend relevant events and experiences.
• Calculate travel distance and estimated travel time.
• Provide weather-aware recommendations.
• Improve search quality and platform performance.
• Monitor system reliability and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop new features and improve the overall user experience.

Location Information

If you allow location access, NextWeekends may use your device's approximate or precise location to recommend nearby experiences and calculate travel distances.

Location sharing is optional and can be disabled at any time through your browser or device settings.

Third-Party Services

NextWeekends works with trusted third-party providers to deliver event information, maps, weather data, restaurant information, attractions, hotel availability, and other travel-related content.

When you purchase tickets, reserve accommodations, or complete a booking, those transactions occur directly on the provider's website—not on NextWeekends. Their privacy policies and terms govern those transactions.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, improve performance, understand how the platform is used, and enhance your overall experience.

Your browser allows you to control or disable cookies, although doing so may affect certain features of the platform.
